How It Works
WaterGuard™ Protection Plus protects your home in four simple steps.
1. Sensors Monitor High-Risk Areas
Water leak sensors are placed in areas where leaks are most likely to occur — under sinks, near washing machines, around water heaters, and in basements.
These sensors continuously monitor for moisture.
2. Water Is Detected
If water touches a sensor, the system immediately recognizes the leak and sends the signal to the hub.
This happens within seconds.
3. You Receive Instant Alerts
The system immediately sends alerts through:
- Mobile app notifications
- SMS alerts (critical alerts included)
So you know exactly when and where a leak has been detected.
4. Water Flow Is Automatically Shut Off
At the same time, the automatic shut-off valve closes your home’s main water supply.
This stops water from continuing to flow and causing further damage.
Once the issue is resolved, the valve can be reopened through the app or manually.
